Before covid I ran a small real estate & property agency business based here in Ao Nang, Krabi in the south of Thailand.  I moved here from Bangkok in 2004 and it took me many years to get established and build up my small business helping foreigners rent, build and buy property here. Like all small businesses there were good times and bad times and I learned a lot on the way. In the end I managed to build up my business and have a good lifestyle

But then came the covid-19 pandemic and unfortunately my business suffered a lot. No more tourists.  No more people buying homes. And my clients who were renting longterm returned home.  A couple even left their pets behind – so I now look after a few cats and dogs at my house.

But after three very tough years, I have started up again and I hope to rebuild my life.

My aim is simply to to help to make your stay in Ao Nang and the Krabi area as easy as possible for you, whether you are just for a holiday or want to invest in property and have a second home in the beautiful Krabi area.

I offer a personal service and like to work with my clients to find them the home, plot of land or business that suits their requirements.  Or if you are here on vacation I can act as a tour guide and show you the best places to visit and also help translate for you.

With my local partners I can also provide other services such as Design and Construction, Hotel Booking, Longstay accommodation and Private Taxi hire for transfers or sightseeing trips.

Why move to Krabi province?

Often described as one of the safest places to live in Thailand, Krabi is a peaceful, secluded small town with beautiful beaches on the southwest coast of Thailand. The cost of living and crime rate is low and the number of amenities like cafes is high. The sense of community in Krabi is strong. It feels like everyone knows each other in the expat community, which is just a few thousand strong during the high season.

How does Krabi compare to Phuket?

Krabi, a province on the west coast of southern Thailand, offers a more laid-back and authentic lifestyle compared to its more touristy neighbor, Phuket. While Phuket may have more glamorous resorts and flashy nightclubs, Krabi boasts stunning natural scenery and a peaceful atmosphere that can’t be beaten.

One of the most significant advantages of living in Krabi is the abundance of natural attractions that are easily accessible from the town. The province is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, including Railay Beach and Phi Phi Islands. Krabi is also home to numerous national parks with vast rainforests, hot springs, and breathtaking waterfalls.

Moreover, Krabi’s smaller population and less developed infrastructure give it a more intimate community feel compared to the hustle and bustle of Phuket. Krabi’s slower pace of life and quieter surroundings make it an ideal place to live for those who prefer a calmer and more peaceful lifestyle.

I have been busy recently looking for new houses for rent ( and for sale ) because during the High Season I know that a lot of people want to come and spend a few months in the sun in Ao Nang.  I have just added more houses this week to the Longstay Section. Here are a couple of them.
